As severe storms moved through the township, our crews responded to 26 separate storm-related incidents after the storm passed, including:
● Trees down
● Trees on vehicles
● Trees on homes
● Trees in swimming pools
● Electrical services ripped from homes
● Downed power lines
● Snapped utility poles
● Wires on fire

Our firefighters worked alongside the Palmer Township Police Department, Palmer Township Public Works, and our dedicated dispatchers throughout the evening to help keep our community safe.

As you travel around Palmer Township, please use extra caution. There are still hazards that may not be immediately visible. Never approach or drive over downed power lines, and always assume any wire is energized. If you encounter a hazardous situation, report it immediately by calling 911.

Thank you to all of our members, our dispatchers, the Palmer Township Police Department, and Palmer Township Public Works for their hard work, teamwork, and dedication during another challenging evening of serving our community.
