Early Sunday April 19th PMFD was alerted to respond to our station for a response into Lehigh County. On Saturday morning a large brush fire had erupted and the guys were called to assist. After loading up our gear the guys headed to Blue Mountain.

PMFD spent all day Sunday assisting both Lehigh and Carbon County units suppress the fire that at the time was believed to span more than 400 acres. The guys assisted with suppression, cutting lines, and providing water via the ATV’s on the front lines. After a long day the guys made it back home at about 21:30 hours.
