Station 27 was dispatched to a two vehicle accident with rollover and possible entrapment on VanBuren Rd. at Northwood Ave. 2752 (Asst. Chief A. Carr) was the first unit on location and established 27 Command.

Command confirmed that two people were trapped in the vehicle that was on its’ roof. Because of severe damage to the other vehicle rescue assistance from Station 53 was requested.

Once 2713 was on location, vehicle number 1 was cribbed and stabilized with rescue struts. The drivers’ door was removed to allowed EMS access to the victims. 5351 and 5353 arrived and were instructed to evaluate the people in the vehicle. Vehicle number 2 only had one victim with minor injuries.

All fire and EMS units were clear at 2008 HRS.
