At 2033 HRS. P.M.F.D. was dispatched to a possible dwelling fire at 2707 Newburgh Rd. Fire units were just clearing an accident scene on Rt. 33.

2751 was on location in 4 minutes. After a quick investigation of the interior 2751 established 27 Command and reported a working fire with flames showing from the wall around the fireplace.

Station 53 was placed on stand by at time of dispatch and then called to respond to the scene with the update of a working fire. The interior crew made entry through the front door and determined that just a small portion of the wall was on fire with no extension.

All fire units were available at 2130 HRS.
