February 10, 2008 - 1009 hour - Dwelling Fire Mutual Aid for West Easton

At 1009 HRS. Station 27 was dispatched to assist Station 23 (Safety First Fire Co.) at a working dwelling fire. The original request for assistance was for Ladder 2721 and a crew to stand by with 2712 in Station 23. Both units responded with crews of 6 on each.

2721’s crew was instructed to vent the roof. Because of too many wires in front of the fire building the main ladder could not be used. 21’s crew set up ground ladders on all four sides and ventilated the main roof. 2712 was moved to the scene for manpower.

All 15 responding firefighters assisted with operations on all three divisions. 27 fire units were released at 1235 HRS.
