January 10, 2008 - 1351 hours - Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries
 

P.M.F.D. was dispatched to an MVA at 2503 Nazareth Rd. (in the area of the 25th St. Shopping Center).

At the time of dispatch it was reported that one of the vehicles was on fire and one victim was trapped.

Before the arrival of 2713, EMS personel had force the door open to gain access to the victim.

Fire units controlled the fluids on the roadway and assisted EMS. There was no fire.

As fire units were finishing their assignments at the MVA 27 was alerted to a possible dwelling fire at 299 Elwood St. The caller stated that they smelled something burning in the garage. Station 14, 17, and 23 were dispatched along with 27.

The problem was located with a T. I. C. There was a malfunction of the wiring for the hot water heater.
Lt. C. Miller had Command. All units were cleared at 1425 HRS.
