P.M.F.D., in conjunction with Domino’s Pizza on William Penn Highway did a Fire Safety event. When a Palmer resident ordered a pizza to be delivered, the Fire Department followed the delivery person with two fire trucks.

Once the delivery person was on location, the owner of the house was asked if the residence had a smoke detector. Then the detector was tested. If the smoke detector worked, the pizza was free. If the detector did not work due to a dead battery, then Domino’s changed the battery.
