It's not everyday Emergency Service personnel have an opportunity to meet individuals they assist everyday, tonight was a special occasion for members of The PMFD staff. On a cold January afternoon, just as roads in the Township began to become ice covered, The PMFD were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Rescue crews arrived and worked vigorously to remove a mother, daughter and two young children who were heavily entrapped in the vehicle. Tonight, victims of that accident, surprisingly visited the firehouse to personally thank each member for their services, and their heroic actions during their traumatic incident that day. We were all pleased to hear that all the family members have recently been released from their hospital stay, and have recovered from their injuries.
