Chaplain Peter Keady

Firefighters are specially equipped and trained to deal with various emergency crises. Fire chaplains are called and equipped to deal with the people being affected by those crises.
My time as chaplain with Palmer Municipal Fire Department has shown me the essentiality and importance of properly caring for the community, firefighters and their families. Much of a firefighter’s work, especially their intense training, goes unnoticed until disaster strikes. Part of my role is to encourage and support them and their families through the stresses of serving the community. They've shown me what character, dedication, sacrifice, stamina and passion look like. I've witnessed the great sacrifice and dedication that PMFD firefighters possess; professionalism is a core value. It is a humble honor to serve those who serve.

With honor,
Reverend Peter Keady

Rev. Keady currently serves as an ordained Associate Pastor with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and has been in Pastoral ministry since 1998. He is married to Kristine and has lived in Palmer Township since 2003.
