Every year the Easton Area High School hosts a Bonfire on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. The Bonfire has been a tradition for the last 108 years and is held to rally support for the annual Phillipsburg & Easton high school football game held on Thanksgiving Day. The PMFD attends each year to support Easton and also to ensure the Bonfire remains a safe environment for everyone attending. The Bonfire is usually lit just after dark and burn for a few hours. If you have never seen it you should stop over at the High School and witness it for yourself. Look for the glow in the sky.
