Starting Friday night at 11:00pm Palmer Township put in place a Snow Emergency that will expire tonight at 6:00pm. During this time the PMFD maintained a crew at station 1 ready to respond to any calls. We took in 5 calls for assistance 1 for a CO alarm, 1 for an Odor of gas inside the dwelling, 1 police assist, 1 EMS assist, and 1 to assist an ambulance that was stuck.

As efforts are made to cleanup from this storm please remember to clear any hydrants that may be on or near your property and also clear our any vents you may have on the side of your house.

If you are shoveling remember to take frequent breaks, stay hydrated, and please don’t shovel the snow into the street.
