During our annual banquet held on Saturday June 6th the following promotions were announced. Kenny McPherson currently Station 1 Captain (27-54) was promoted to Battalion Chief (27-52). Ken Sobieski currently Station 1 Lieutenant (27-57) was promoted to Station 1 Captain (27-53). Michael August currently Station 1 Lieutenant (27-56) was promoted to Station 2 Captain (27-54). Firefighter Mike Simko was appointed the role of Station 2 Lieutenant (27-56). Firefighter Mike Mesco was appointed the role of Station 1 Lieutenant (27-57). Additionally, on Monday night Fire Commissioner Gallagher announced that Phil Swass will assume the position of Buildings and Apparatus Engineer.
