On Monday April 6th PMFD held a training class entitled – Patient Extrication from a Vehicle. The class was presented by Easton Hospital. After a 30 minute presentation the class headed outside for some hands on training. The guys practiced; establishing c-spine on patients during extrication, patient care during extrication, collar & backboard placement during extrication, patient movement during extrication, and functions of a CID device and stretcher.

We would like to Thank John and Jamie from Easton Hospital & Dave and Eric from Suburban EMS. It was a pleasure working with you and we hope to do it again soon.
