On Sunday March 4th 2018 the Forks Township Fire Department was dispatched for a reported dwelling fire. Upon the arrival of PD they confirmed a working fire. Shortly after Palmer was requested for 27-21 to respond. Initial crews arrived and advanced an 1 3/4 line to the second floor and quickly extinguished the fire, the crew from 21 arrived and was asked to search for a cat that was left behind. After searching members from Forks fire located the cat hiding in the master bedroom.
After cleaning up Palmer units were release from the scene.
