| Station 27 was dispatched to a two vehicle accident at Tatamy Rd. and Newlins Mill Rd. Because of the time of day and the location 2753 ( D.A. Grube) had Station 25 ( Forks Township ) put on stand by for rescue assistance. 2754 (Captain A. Carr) was on location in four minutes. Command reported a two vehicle accident, one vehicle in the intersection and the other in the field. He also reported heavy entrapment in both vehicles, and one victim in each vehicle. Station 25 was re-alerted to respond to the scene. The door on vehicle one was opened quickly for EMS to evaluate the victim. Station 27 was just starting work on vehicle number two when Station 25 arrived to assist. Victim two was extricated in 18 minutes. A medical helicopter was on stand by but was not used. Both victims were transported by ground. All units were cleared at 1011 hrs. |
