Station 27 has a Busy Afternoon!

#27 responded to 4 calls that were probably all related.  There was a power outage in the southern part of the township.

The first call was for a general fire alarm at the Post Office on Greenwood Ave.  Units were just clearing when the second call was dispatched.

The Met-Ed sub-station was on fire a short distance from the Post Office at Division St. and Dunkle St.

The third call was for wires down, south of the dead end on Dunkle St.  A high tension wire had broken and was lying on the ground in the middle of a large field.

A short time later the fourth call was dispatched - a smoke condition with an odor of something burning at the Chrin Building on William Penn Hwy.  The third floor and roof were searched, and no problems were located.
