April 29, 2004 - 2318 hours - Motor Cycle Accident and Smoke Investigation
 

Station 27 was dispatched to a motor cycle accident at William Penn Highway and Elwood St. EMS was on location first reporting one male victim lying in the roadway.

2751 (Chief T. Pursel) was the first arriving fire officer. Just as Command released all units except 2712, Northampton County 911 dispatched units to a possible structure fire at 2700 William Penn Highway (Biagio Pizza). A Palmer Police Department unit was driving by and noticed smoke coming out of a roof mounted air conditioning unit.

2753 (Asst. Chief D.A. Grube) was Command. The crew from 2711 laddered the building and shutdown the air conditioning unit. When the key holder arrived the interior of the business was checked for any further problems. All units cleared at 0030 hours.
