Station 27 was dispatched at 1401 HRS. for a barn fire at 1493 VanBuren Road.

1412 was dispatched on the alarm for R.I.T. NC E-911 updated responding units that they had received numerous calls that the barn was on fire.

2751 (Commissioner D. A. Grube) arrived, took 27 Command and confirmed a working fire. 2721 took the Alpha side of the structure. One 1 ¾” preconnect was put into service on the Delta side. The crew from 2712 was instructed to protect the exposure. 2713 laid the supply line from a hydrant 500’ to the east.

All units were cleared at 2106 HRS.
