Stations 24 and 27 were dispatched to Rt. 22 eastbound for a motor vehicle accident with injuries at mile marker 335.2 in the Boro. NC E-911 dispatched both companies because of various calls reporting different locations.

A/C A. Carr (2752) was on location at 1447 HRS. An update was given to all responding units to a two vehicle MVA , with two class 1 victims, and entrapment. 2742 (1st arriving apparatus) started the extrication operation. 2414 and 2441 arrived moments later and assisted the operation. Both victims were extricated at approximately 1457 HRS.
