May 26, 2009 - 1034 hours - Motor Vehicle Accident

Station 27 was dispatched at 1034 HRS. for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries in the area of the Palmer Park Mall on Rt. 248. (2751) Commissioner D.A. Grube was the first fire unit on location and took 27 Command. Command updated incoming units with a report that one vehicle was on top of the guard rail, vehicle was leaking fuel, no injuries, and a total of three vehicles involved. The crew from 2742 stabilized the vehicle and assisted EMS with removing the victim. The crew from 2713 pulled a line for fire protection till the tow service removed the vehicle from the guard rail.
