Station 27 was automatic dispatched with Stations 14 and 17 to a working vehicle fire on Rt. 22, eastbound at MM 333.3. The original dispatch placed the call in Palmer Township across from the Charles Chrin Community Center. The actual location was just east of the Bethman Road overpass in Bethlehem Township.

A/C A. Carr (2752) was the first fire officer on location and was 27 Command. Command updated responding units with the proper location, vehicle was fully involved, and eastbound traffic was shut down. 2713 was instructed to travel west bound in the east bound lanes from 25th St. and 1411 was instructed to travel the gutter lane because of the traffic being stopped.

The crew from 2713 stretched 1-13/4” preconnect and was assisted by the crew from 1411. Command marked the call under control at 0935 HRS.

All units were available at 1028 HRS.
