April 15, 2009 - 1816 hours - Dwelling Fire
 

 

At 1816 HRS. Station 27 was dispatched to a kitchen fire at 2723 Victoria Lane. The occupant of 2721 Victoria Lane called E-911 to report smelling smoke from the next door neighbors house and also the neighbor had alerted her that his kitchen was on fire.

A Palmer P.D. unit on location reported that the fire was out, and there was a smoke condition inside. Crews entered the dwelling to check for extension using a T.I.C. Positive
Pressure ventilation was started and the Division I crew continued overhaul operations in the kitchen.

All fire units were available at 1930 HRS when 27 was alerted to an automatic alarm at 3501 Northwood Ave. That call was an alarm malfunction.
