Members of the Palmer Municipal Fire Department held a Fire Safety event at the Charles Chrin Community Center as part of the week long Junior Cadet Program that was sponsored by the Palmer P.D.

The cadets were instructed in the proper use of a fire extinguisher, having an evacuation plan at home encase of a fire, “stop-drop-and roll”, calling 911 for an emergency. Each cadet also got a chance to show their skills at using a fire hose.
