July 30, 2007 - Fire Department Memorial Scholarships Awarded.
| Each year the Palmer Municipal Fire Department awards (2) $1000.00 scholarships to area students that meet certain criteria. The K. “Eddie” Grube memorial scholarship was given to Bryan M. Stevens of Palmer Township. Brian graduated from Easton Area High School and will be attending Pennsylvania College of Technology. The George B. Knowlson, Jr. memorial scholarship was awarded to Michael J. Wolfinger also of Palmer Township. Michael graduated from Easton Area High School in June and will be going to Penn State-Berks campus. Both recipients are active members of the fire department Brian M. Stevens is on the left and Michael J. Wolfinger is on the right.
