December 22, 2007 - 1439 hours - Dwelling Fire
 

Station #27 was alerted to a dwelling fire at 2722 Tamlynn Ln. Palmer P.D. units on location reported a working fire in the basement and all occupants evacuated from the dwelling. While enroute Commissioner D. A. Grube requested a full response from Station #23. #2711 and #2311 arrived almost at the same time. Personnel from #2711 stretched a 200’ preconnect to the front door while the crew from #2311 laid a 5” supply line from the hydrant.

Both crews combined and made entry through the front door to the basement. Ventilation to the basement was taken care of by the outside vent person. The fire was quickly put under control with extended operating time for the units on scene for ventilation to a total of four dwellings. Units from Station #14 and #17 were also on location staged in the general area for manpower and to cover the Palmer Township.

All units were cleared at 1723 HRS.
