| Station #53 (L. Nazareth) was dispatched to a working chimney fire at 3136 Val Vista Drive. P.M.F.D. was also dispatched because the address was on the border. #5312 arrived first. #5353 (A/C Ryan Hinkel) confirmed the dispatch information. #2753 (A/C T. Wagaman) took Command. The fire place was emptied, and PPV was used on side A to ventilate the smoke in the dwelling. The main on #2721 was raised to the roof so a crew could check the condition of the chimney. A T.I.C. was used on the interior to check for extension. The camera was also used on the roof to check the chimney area. All units were clear at 1953 hours.
