| P.M.F.D. was dispatched to a possible dwelling fire, smoke in the basement at 2650 Broad St.. Palmer P.D. on location reported that the dwelling was evacuated and the owner located the source of the smoke. (2) T.I.C. (thermal imaging cameras) were used to locate the problem and confirm that there was no extension. The source of the fire was traced back to the fireplace. The occupants were alerted to the problem by the smoke detector in the basement. Station #53 was on stand by in station. All fire units cleared at 0703 hrs.
