On June 19, 2006 the Board of Supervisors awarded a contract to Pierce Manufacturing of Appleton, Wisconsin for a 2007 Enforcer. The new engine will replace #2712 (a 1984 Ford-Pierce) the is housed at Fire Station II on Freemansburg Ave.

The contract price was $454,838.00. Delivery is expected to be spring to early summer 2007. Bud Strauss of Glick Fire Equipment is the salesman.
