November 13, 2006 - Multi-Vehicle Accident
 

Fire Station #27 was dispatched to a multi vehicle accident with unknown injuries on south 25 th. Street at Williamson St. #2751 (Commissioner D.A. Grube) was the first fire officer on location. After assuming command #2751 reported a four vehicle accident with at least two injuries. A dump style tractor trailer had struck two vehicles and then ran off of the road, into a ditch, shearing off a utility pole.

Fire units secured all of the vehicles and controlled the fluids on the roadway. Station #24 (Wilson Boro) was requested to respond with an engine to stand by for the tow service that was working on the tractor trailer.(The accident happened in Wilson Boro but came to rest in Palmer Township).

Stations #23 and #53 were put on automatic dispatch for any further calls in the township.

All #27 fire units cleared at 1417 hrs.
