| Fire Station 27 was alerted to a fire in a garage at 3210 Winding Way. A Palmer P.D. unit that was on patrol in the area reported smoke from the rear of the dwelling. #2751 (Chief D. A. Grube), first fire officer on location reported a working fire in a single car garage. The crew from #2711 stretched a single 1 ¾” preconnect to side “D”. The fire was under control at 1656 hrs. The fire damage was held to the garage and the vehicle that was parked inside. There was no extension and only a slight smoke condition inside the dwelling. 16 Firefighters with three pieces of apparatus cleared at 1806 hrs. Fire Station #53 with a crew of 5 was moved to Station 27-1 and Station 23 was put on stand by in their station. Suburban EMS was on location for rehab services.
