| Fire Station 27 was dispatched to a motor vehicle fire on Rt. 22 Westbound, just East of the 25 th St. exit. Station 24 was also dispatched per dispatching procedures for that section of Rt. 22. Chief D. A. Grube (2751) was the first fire officer on location. Command reported an engine compartment fire on a pick-up truck. The first engine on location was 2712. The crew stretched 100’ of 1” hose. The fire was reported under control at 1756 hrs. 15 Volunteers using three pieces of equipment from 27 responded. Station 24 (Wilson Boro) responded with one engine and a crew along with 2450 (Chief M. Collins) All units cleared at 1829 hrs.
