| Station 27 was alerted to a vehicle fire at 1510 hours on Rt. 22, just west of the Greenwood Ave. overpass. N.C. 911 received numerous calls for a well involved vehicle fire. The crew from 2742 stretched a 200’ 13/4 “ preconnect using Class A foam. 2712 was used for additional water. Stations 14 and 17 were dispatched because of a delay in the response of 27 because of heavy traffic on Rt. 22. All fire units cleared at 1627 hours.
