| The P.M.F.D. had 5 apparatus and 14 volunteers on the streets of the township for trick or treat. Over 600 candy bars and 9V batteries were passed out to the children. The candy bars were compliments of the fire department. The batteries had a note attached to them: “WHEN YOU CHANGE YOUR CLOCKS, REMEMBER TO CHANGE THE BATTERY IN YOUR SMOKE DETECTOR”. The batteries were compliments of the P.M.F.D., Home Depot, and Energizer.
