| Station 27 was alerted to a possible dwelling fire at 27 Lower Way Rd. at 1020 hours. Lt. C. Miller (2757) was the first fire officer on location reporting a fire inside the oven. Command also reported the fire was out and a heavy smoke condition throughout the dwelling. PPV was used to evacuate the smoke. Damage was confined to the appliance with no extension. 16 volunteers answered the call. All units were cleared at 1106 hours.
